Angel Cards Online Review
I know there’s a lot of angel cards online but I will just focus this review on the “Voice of the Angels – A Healing Journey Cards”. This is the one I actually use so I can honestly give you a review about it instead of doing a comparative review of several angel cards available in the market today just based on secondary sources.
ABOUT THE ANGEL CARDS
There are 30 cards altogether (7 are those of the guardian angels and the rest are scenes from the healing journey) and they are based on a guided meditation and anthology of songs of the same name. These cards are actually a part of a bigger project which consists of the cards, a book, journal, meditation and songs. Everything in the project was created by Dyan Gariss with seven guardian angels.
HOW TO USE THE ANGEL CARDS
You can do the readings for yourself or for others and there are different “Spans” or “Spreads” to do this. These cards come with a booklet which explains the meaning of each card and it’s up to you to ponder what it means in your particular situation or concern.
When I first used the cards, I chose the simplest span which consists of only 1 card and then added two more cards. After 2 days, I chose a more elaborate span consisting of 10 cards. Interestingly, the 3 that I have originally chosen when I first started also appeared among the 10.
The readings were all so uplifting. The cards are all positive, no negative connotations. You may be thinking this is not realistic but actually it is. As said in the booklet which accompanies the cards and I quote:
“Unlike other cards of this nature, this deck contains no negative connotations. They were developed with spiritual upliftment at their core.
This is not to say that we take an unrealistic view of the universe,but we believe that inside every perceived or potential negative, there is a positive. From there, it is a matter of where the emphasis or focus is placed.”
As for the frequency of doing the readings, it’s really up to you. But it’s best not to do it too often as the purity of the readings may become diluted. And besides, if you keep asking the same questions, you’re bound to get the same answers.
Personally, I do it only once a month (unless I feel an urgent need to use it)but I do choose one card a day just to set a positive mood for the day.
Take note that the angel cards are not meant for “fortune telling”. It’s a spiritual tool for anyone who seeks a higher level of spiritual development and enlightenment. The cards are also a channel of communication with angels.
MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THE ANGEL CARDS
As I said before, these angel cards are part of a bigger project which includes a book, journal, meditation and songs. However, this doesn’t mean that you would need all the above to benefit from the cards. These angel cards are amazing all by themselves. In fact, I don’t think I have to try other angel cards online. The ones I have right now are surely a keeper, something I feel will always be part of my spiritual journey.
I said the angel cards are amazing for several reasons. First is the energy that you could feel when you touch the card. I am not a psychic or an angel therapist or the like but I felt a subtle yet very peaceful energy as soon as I touch them.
And it wasn’t just the touch. Everytime I hold the cards in my hand and look at the beautifully illustrated scenes and the seven guardian angels, I feel a certain loving energy. I don’t know about you but to me, there’s nothing more wonderful than feeling so peaceful and loved at the same time!
Secondly, it’s really not hard to interpret the meaning of the cards and how they apply to your particular life situation. They can be quite straightforward so you don’t really have to scratch your head and wonder what they mean. You won’t be thinking that they are irrelevant to the particular question you are asking. One thing about the cards you have chosen for the reading is that they are certainly relevant answers to whatever you’re asking.
You won’t be staring into space wondering what the cards mean. You can clearly discern what the angels are saying to you.
Thirdly, and this is truly personal, now that I’m using the angel cards, I have a profound sense of knowing that the angels are here for me, willing and able to help me, accompanying me in each and every step of my spiritual journey.
